Macy M. is the owner and operator of the Oly Grooming Co. She wears many hats, including secretary, business manager, and (most importantly) groomer. She grew up on her parent's farm where they had 32 acres of training grounds for their Pointing Lab breeding and training program. At 11, Macy began raising and showing English Angora rabbits and was trained in grooming techniques and coat maintenance. At 16 she started her own Hunting Poodle breeding program and learned how to groom her own poodles. At 19, she launched her career as a professional groomer. She had intended to use grooming as a means to get through college, but even after earning her BS in Marketing & Advertising she realized that grooming was her passion and she launched her own mobile grooming company right here in the Pacific Northwest. Macy has training and experience in dog handling, coat evaluation, dog and cat hair styling, rabbit grooming and showing, and Pet CPR & First Aid. Macy enjoys traveling, hiking, and hanging out with her pets. Taylor A. (bio to come)

Amanda joined the Oly Grooming Co. team in 2023 and has built herself a busy schedule of happy repeat clientele. Amanda S. considers the study of grooming her passion and is well-versed in skin and coat health, deshedding treatments and other therapeutic pet care methods. Caitlynn G. has an extensive background as a professional groomer. She began bathing for a salon in 2007 and worked her way into a grooming position where she spent the next 10 years refining her skills. Caitlynn left the corporate-owned salon to join our team at the Oly Grooming Co. in 2023 and has been a pillar of strength as our business continues to grow! Caitlynn has been trained in a variety of techniques, including hand scissoring, hand stripping, coloring, cat grooming and flat coated breed grooming. She is also Pet CPR certified. In her spare time, Caitlynn enjoys hiking with her standard poodle Monroe and french bulldog Paris, reading, doing the NYT crossword with her boyfriend and tending to her large collection of houseplants. |
